AIM

The achievement of mandibular anesthesia and regional anesthesia of the oral cavity by nerve block and infiltration. The detection of complications and dealing with difficulties in achieving dental anesthesia in general practice. The knowledge of particularly specific anesthetic-analgetic methods.

CONTENT OF THE COURSE

Anesthetics – vascoconstrictors; Proceding local anesthesia techniques/Specific anesthetic methods/nitrus oxide/intravascular sedation; Complications due to local anesthesia/Dealing with complications.

EDUCATIONAL METHODS

  • Lectures.
  • Laboratory exercise.

SUCCESSFUL COMPLETION

  • Successful completion of 80% of laboratory exercises.
  • Successful intermediate examination
  • Successful final examination.
