I'm pleased to inform you that according to the "ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking of Academic Subjects 2017-Dentistry & Oral Sciences" our School was ranked among the world's top 100 Dental Schools. The
ShanghaiRanking's Global Ranking is based on comprehensive, clear and objective criteria and is considered to be the most demanding internationally.

I would like to thank the staff of our School, and particularly the faculty members, whose scientific contribution led to this international distinction.
This distinction becomes even more important considering the negligible state funding due to the current economic problems in the country.
With a very limited budget the School has managed to surpass other traditional schools in Europe and the globe, with much higher budgets and financial support.
