Professor Christos Perisanidis elected as the new Education and Training Officer of the Oral & Maxillofacial surgeons of Europe

The Executive Committee and the General Assembly of the European Association for Cranio-Maxillofacial Surgery elected Dr. Christos Perisanidis, Professor of the School of Dentistry of the National and Kapodistrian University of Athens (NKUA), as the new Education and Training Officer of the Oral and Maxillofacial surgeons of Europe. 

It is the first time in the 50 years of this leading European Association (1970-2020) that a Greek Professor is elected to this position. The election of Dr. Perisanidis is the natural development of his career as an internationally renowned academic and surgeon and is a great honour for the School of Dentistry of NKUA and our country.

We wish Dr. Perisanidis a prosperous and inspirational term.
